Agreement with Genoa University 2002

IAGSA has entered into an important agreement with the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Genoa, promoting a new research project (the only one of its kind in Italy) based on the use of the most modern and most rapid of technologies, i.e., the technology of gene-chips (RNA arrays).

It is hoped that this study might allow researchers to clarify, at last, the aetiopathogenetic mechanisms underlying AGS, thus making it possible to develop targeted therapeutic strategies.

You can see below a short article written by Prof. Alberto Izzotti Associate Professor, Department of Health Sciences, University of Genoa,  responsible for the research project.
